Lovee it but never finished Lavos. Was too weak
me neither, had the best equipment in the game for my party too (Chronos, Frog and Magus). IIRC Lavos had a random attack pattern, but if he did a certain two moves back-to-back then I could never heal enough to stay alive. I knew that if I kept trying and I got lucky enough then I could beat him if he doesn't do those attacks back-to-back but I never cared enough to try over and over. It's also not really an ideal game to grind on so really I just took that L and stopped playing
edit: never beat FFT either, got stuck at the part where you had to duel that guy and the only way to win is with auto-potion. it fukked me over
Thinking about getting the Android version. Can anyone recommend it?

You could just download the ROM and play it on the SNES or DS emulatorThinking about getting the Android version. Can anyone recommend it?

I played Persona 3 but not 4 yet. 3 was good but I didn't like the lack of customization and the over-simplicity of the combat system. It got a little more in-depth later but half the shyt in the game is ignorable, you find your favorite persona monster and you plow through the game as you go through the tower
edit: btw customization and depth is key to me for RPGs which is why I don't quite consider CT the GOAT. I consider FF6 the GOAT

I wish I was 14 playing this game for the 1st time. I must have clocked in over 250 hours playing this game back in 95-96.. It's the GOAT RPG to me. To think I picked up this game by mistake from my local renting place, and kept the game.
