While I will say there are a handful of tracks I mess with on that album, it's still a let down. I feel like people force themselves to like Jay because it's Jay. Shiit one of my co-workers today just told me today the only artist he'll buy is Jay-Z because he makes quality music...I couldn't help but laugh..

Dude has one dope solo album in the past 9 years, American Gangster. Let's just ignore the fact that he went back to coke dealer rap at age 40 while going skiing with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow in order to make a good album and give him that.

Kingdom Come was a dud. So was Blueprint 3. WTT was pretty good but it was a collab album and it was Kanye's production and creative influence that made it what it was.

It ain't all that but its a nice album definitly,but it should be Nas standard....Nas dropped so many duds his stans felt forced to pretend were otherwise the oness who believe its classic just speaks to how low they standards had fell for Nas after dud after dud being released....but Nas got a decade left to drop a real classic he tends to drop them at the beggining of each decade and not the tail end tho so good luck...we might even be gracious enuff to let u have LIG considering most nikkas would be completely flabby and sick by now being around long as Nas has,depends on how next Ether Day turns out...this one wuz such a failure and embarrasement I'm feeling bad for Nas fans

And we gon act like Roc La Fa Milia ain't Jays album too I guess....say what u want but who wuz more consistent than Jay?certainly not Nas....Jay kept his fans satisfied....Vol 3 wuz his first weak one,then he didn't drop another weak one til KC.
