nikkas is still debating whether or not spike died in 2013?

"is he dead, of course he's fukking dead, fukk you mean is he dead?"

the way he went out with the ".....bang" should've tipped ya'll nikkas off

oh and back on topic, there is no doubt in mind that overall cowboy bebop has the GOAT anime and possibly goat soundtrack of any tv show i've seen, even though for gym purposes i do prefer the fist of the north star soundtrack

Champloo is fukkin RIGHT THERE with it though. Who's Theme had me high as fukk and I aint even hit nothing, beautiful shyt right there. I remember it came on at the end of one of the episodes randomly and I was like fuuuuuuuk. Watanabe needs to get off his Dr. Dre one album every decade steeze and drop another piff project.

Hmmmm yes in terms of television and shows then yes.

The Ocarina of Time has to be up there as the GOAT soundtrack imo.

It's a tie between Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo for GOAT soundtracks.

The way every song sets the scene and creates an emotion :wow:

Bebop is cool and all as a series, but on a episode to episode basis I dont think it was all that amazing because the only true episode that really grabbed my attention was the one with the French Assassin, now thats the one that had me krs'n at the tv screen. All the other e[isode kinda felt like filler aside from the occasional ones that built on the overarching story

... Bang.

Am I just older and bitter, or do they not make anime like they used to? I remember Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun, FLCL, FullMetal Alchemist, Evangelion and Death Note being so legit. Vaguely remember Gundam, but only for stuff blowing up :gladbron: Gurren Lagann and Monster were also :phew:
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and One Piece :salute:

It feels like Anime made after 2000 hasn't been the same. Maybe I'm just older and bitter though :to:

come on tho, kenshin the tv series was wack and didnt even have an ending

while i do agree anime imo has fallen off, thats probably just due to me being older and not really having time to watch it as much

I came up in the 90s when we had PIFF, manga entertainment stayed bringing that fire (ghost in the shell, ninja scroll, akira, the GOOD street fighter movie, shadow skill, macross plus, appleseed, fist of the north star, goku midnight eye, golgo 13,hellsing,megazone 23 which inspired the matrix, patlabor, perfect blue, X,tokyo babylon)
