Props breh thanks. So u already work in IT. How is it helping? Im in a whole different field. I work in a microbiology Quality assurance lab and trying to get my foot in the door with certs.

I know its all about who u know to get ya foot in the door. I know a few people who work for montefiore IT

Yeah...Nothing major (troubleshooting with customers/internal helpdesk, ticketing...Nothing to to call home to mama about really) BUT I have colleagues who work at the NOC in my organization who have NO certs making salary (55K) and have discussed their NEED to get JUST the CCNA just to have leverage on their bosses...Every shop is different but it's never too far out of reach and the dough is waiting on us!!!

The ones I kept were fine.lol . Some I bought and was like "naw, not interested in learning this anymore". I would return 3 to 5 courses at a time. After about a year, they gave me a warning and I still did it..lol

Good looking on that. Been looking to learn more about Excel and Basic IT language. A little over a year ago, I talked my way into a Computer Tech position making a good starting salary based on my general knowledge I've acquired throughout life. Looking to now strengthen my skills and learn to communicate what I know in more technical terms. Signed up for an Excel, A+ (just started self studying for the cert), CCNA, CEH and SQL course. Want to see what interests me most as I continue down this new path.
