Tongue scraper changed my life, still brush your tongue after (and gums). Feel like a got damn cleanroom in my mouth :russ:

Don't brush your gums, toothbrush aint made for that, it can cause gum disease

Not brushing your gums will encourage gum disease. Your toothbrush is designed to clean your entire mouth, not just your teeth. Just make sure it’s a soft bristle toothbrush.

IDK man, when I brushed my gums they got irritated real easy, then I stopped and been good since

I know you can massage them, but brushing, I wouldn't do it.

I goggled just to make sure, and this is what I found:
https://www.quora.com/When-brushing-my-teeth-should-I-brush-my-Gums-too

"No, don’t brush your gums while brushing your teeth. It can hurt your gums or lead to gum recession that will expose the inner layers and cause extreme teeth sensitivity. You should use the right brushing techniques like Bass technique (if you are using a manual toothbrush) or use an electric toothbrush for a deeper cleaning of the oral cavity.

Focus on brushing your teeth properly in order to remove the plaque layers built around your teeth and gums. If you are using an electric toothbrush, move it slowly around your teeth for about 2 minutes. Floss your teeth regularly in order to remove dental plaque in-between the teeth to prevent gum diseases."

I WOULD RECOMMEND USING SOMETHING CALLED A MISWAK OR SIWAK. IT'S VERY NATURAL PROPHETIC MEDICINE FOR ORAL HEALTH. IT WORKS GREAT FOR ME! IT'S LIKE A NATURAL TOOTH CLEANING STICK!
No doubt, licorice sticks work too. Miswak sticks may be too bitter.medicine taste for some. flavored Licorice sticks works wonders too

My toothpaste doesn’t contain fluoride anyway.

I feel you bruh, let me explain. Massaging your gums, to me, is the same as brushing your gums. Brushing aggressively can lead to recession, but not gum disease. Everything else you posted was correct.

Yeah, I realize gum disease is different then recession. Should've used the correct terms.

I'm just scared of messing with my gums after the pain it used to bring. I didn't realize why my teeth would hurt when it got cold, and then it hit me I was brushing my gums. I stopped just kept it to HP, and brushing, and been good ever since. I want to try a gum massager, but I don't want that pain again
