I dig what you're saying, I was the same way. Thing is there is only so much you can do with shyt like EEG and other machines and that's not taking into acount personal and professional biases.

There is some shyt you are just going to have to experience and prove to yourself.
I can fathom the bolded, and I try not to fall into scientism territory by pretending that only science can spell out reality, but when I read claims that sounds like super powers, it becomes hard for me to not get into that modd since it's stuff that seems like it would be very easy to demonstrate regardless of the available technology.

If people dream of what they describe as other realms or entities, aight, whatever they say. I have no opinion.
But if they say they can dream and interact with other people, then... How hard could it be to isolate two practitioners, tell one of them a code, and verify on camera they can communicate it to somebody else? Personal biases can't get around that.

And as for trying it for myself, it makes sense, but for me the thing is this: I don't trust my individual perceptions when it comes to certain things, this being one of them. Folks experiencing or believing things don't necessarily mean they exist outside of their imagination.
For example, I used to think I was able to do the lucid dream thing until I realized that I was most likely just dreaming I knew I was in a dream, which explained why even when I "realized" I was in a dream I never was in real control of myself as I would be awake.

Not gonna lie brehs I bytched out last night and probably won't attempt this going forward. As I sat there tryna manipulate my own reality via lucid dreaming I realized I could mindfukk myself and enter another episode of sleep paralysis.

There is nothing, I repeat NOTHING in life I have experienced more terrifying than sleep paralysis. Mind you I've gotten into a high speed motorcycle crash and dislocated my hip and broke my foot while being laid out in the middle of sawgrass expressway in Broward county with cars whizzing past me. I was literally airlifted in a helicopter off the expressway (still paying on that bill btw smh), I fukked myself up bad brehs. And I can STILL confidently say that was nothing in comparison to sleep paralysis.

Whoever said that shyt basically gives you a sneak peek of what death is like had to be spot on. Being awake yet unable to move your body no matter how hard you try is so fukking terrifying I never want to do anything that would increase my chances of experiencing that ever again.

I just sat down to point up some programs and things that I thought might help you. I'll still do a seperate post but to address the sleep paralysis, stretching in general, especially before sleep goes a long way toward bypassing that sleep paralyis sensation.

When you fall asleep with tension in the body, which the vast majority of us do, much more than we ever notice, it makes any kind of concious exist/re-entry to the body very heavy and resistant. The less tension in the muscle/fascia, the less resistance on exit/re-entry there will be.

If, or rather when I was in your shoes, I sat that shyt aside for a little while and learned how relax deeply and progressively put my body to sleep on purpose instead of trying to brute force it. When you actually sit down and intend to "paralyze", or put your body at rest and remain in conscious command, it takes away a lot of the mystrey of why/how things feel the way they do.

And truthfully, while that can certainly help you get better at lucid dreaming, learning how to do that is a hell of a lot more rewarding across the board.

What helped me a great deal was a Wendi Fiesen's deep trance training audio, It's been so long I doubt she has the origonal one up but it should have the same effect.

All Products - Learn Hypnosis with Wendi

Looks like she actually has put together a free course for that.

There's many videos on YouTube just search it up

I don't fukk with that shyt but yea Astral projection is real

I'm sure there are more simple/concise videos that can maybe help you get some intial experience, that may be all you need to get rolling.

But there is a video course with all kinds of extras that I bought like 15 years ago it seems like called Lucidology 101.

I feel like that whole shyt had to be one of the most interesting and helpful things I ever watched regarding Lucid dream, astral projection and even beyond those topics, dude was heading in to weird territory, in the best of ways IMO. I'm thinking he's going to keep putting out content but seems like he fell off/disappeared.

A lot of his stuff is up on youtube but I got the whole course on a drive somewhere. Even after I got into other things besides AP I still thought a lot about some of the concepts in that series, a lot of which makes a hell of a lot more sense to me now than it did when I first saw it.

This is something I have found to be true. LD and AP both are much easier in the morning. Unless you have to piss right away...just lay there, let your body stay sleep and you can slip out much easier than you can at night.
