Well for starters, I want you to confirm my understanding of the difference between lucid dreaming and astral projecting.
To my understanding, lucid dreaming is being conscious inside of your own imagination during sleep. You cannot actually interact with others because you are literally operating from inside your own mind. Astral projecting, on the other hand, I thought was you literally traversing this "universe" (for lack of better words) outside of your own body. Meaning, you can interact with others who are also projecting and when you wake up you could, in theory, discuss the events with participating parties when you awaken.
I believe lucid dreaming is very possible. I do NOT believe in this projecting cac sht but I'd love for you or anyone else that isn't a lame ass bytch id smack the fukk out of in real life to come in here and explain in depth what astral projecting is and how it's not just some a$$hole believing his lucid dreams actually took place outside of his own mind.
Okay, I'm going to try and pace myself because when it comes to topics such as these, so many dots connect to so many MORE relevant things than some of the subjects themselves, so I'll try to build with you in a structured manner the best I can.
Lucid dreaming is pretty much as you described, becoming conciously aware during your dream, the notion that you're confined to your own individual mind's imagination is not something I agree with in my experience but that's also dependant on other factors such as what bandwidth or level of mind you fell asleep in, there are levels and layer to reality that you can't grok by just waking up in a dream.
This is why there is some overlap between the two concepts, in a similar way that psycedellics overlap with meditation. Similar results and experiences, but the avid meditator actually understands the process, can more easily duplicate it and integrate said experiences into what is percieved as waking life.
Astral projection, or what I like to call Lucid Living is not waking up in or even inducing a dream and learning how to control it...it's learning how to die, conciously.
We can get into what all that entails, but I think that's a good place to start building with you on the topic.
