I laugh at sky daddy jokes but I really do believe in a divine creator.


Astral projection, on the other hand, feels like believing in the flying spaghetti monster to me. Both COULD in theory really be true, but like come the fukk on. I can explain to you exactly why I believe in a divine creator, can anybody explain to me exactly why they believe in astral projection?

Definitely believe in astral projection.

I’ve done it 3 times intentionally using guided mediations. shyt is dope as hell.

Don’t you think just as there are “evil” entities and spirits there could be good ones as well…?

I most definitely believe you have to be in the certain mind frame and if you study the topic it advises you to always go in with a clear head space, pray for positive beings / experiences, guides, etc etc

I just am not a firm believer in fearing and condemning the unknown when I have not personally experienced certain things. There could also very much be beauty, love and harmony in the unknown as well…

You and up to eight willing creatures within range project your astral bodies into the Astral Plane (the spell fails and the casting is wasted if you are already on that plane). The material body you leave behind is unconscious and in a state of suspended animation; it doesn’t need food or air and doesn’t age.

Your astral body resembles your mortal form in almost every way, replicating your game statistics and possessions. The principal difference is the addition of a silvery cord that extends from between your shoulder blades and trails behind you, fading to invisibility after 1 foot. This cord is your tether to your material body. As long as the tether remains intact, you can find your way home. If the cord is cut—something that can happen only when an effect specifically states that it does—your soul and body are separated, killing you instantly.

Your astral form can freely travel through the Astral Plane and can pass through portals there leading to any other plane. If you enter a new plane or return to the plane you were on when casting this spell, your body and possessions are transported along the silver cord, allowing you to re-enter your body as you enter the new plane. Because people today are still the same people from 5000 years ago. Making up scary explanations for things they do not understand.
A cold used to be caused by impure evil spirits in the blood and they used to do shyt like blood letting to remove them. Now we know it's caused by viruses.
Just like we still don't know what happens after death we have a bunch of scary/comforting explanations for it.
Same with astral projection.
Humans just make up shyt and run with it to provide themselves comfort and/or keep themselves safe.
A lot of times the scare tactics are also just a way to keep the flock of sheep in line.
