So we can all agree the Heat only play hard when they want to...

Bron's "There is always tomorrow" comments were very telling to me. I'm getting a "If it ain't rough it ain't right" ala the Pistons from last decade vibe from them. They just don't lose two in a row period. However they also don't come out with max effort for two in a row either. Against the Bucks and injured Bulls it was enough. However against a hungry ass Indy team and a seasoned SA team it's not. I am very interested to see how they come out in game 5.

Yes I was gonna say this in the game thread last night. It's sickening really. They have the ability to be the most dominate team but they don't cause they don't bring it like that. Soft mentality. How can you not get up for a finals game? :what:
That shyt really pisses me off about them. Crush ants with sledgehammers not burn them with a magnifying glass.

In their defense, them nikkas exert A LOT of energy playing that style of defense. That's why they didn't bring it like that all season. But there's only 3 games left now so they might as well leave it all on the court.

nikka have you ever played a sport in your life? Ain't no way in hell a team should be this damn bipolar. These dudes basically don't come to play after a win. If it isn't a coaches job to keep his team mentally focused then who's is it?

SINY!!
The effort is there IMO, the problem is that their basketball IQ. Lebron will be effective someway, somehow consistently because he rarely makes dumb plays. Sometimes it just seems like Wade and Bosh are just clueless as to how they want to attack.

Bosh did some work under the basket with put-backs, keeping the ball alive, and/or outright just grabbing boards. He's not as effective if hes constantly taking jumpers that can't make consistently.

Wade, it just seems had no faith in perimeter shooting. Once he started taking and making some of those....it just opened up everything else for him.

Effort is there.....basketball IQ, not so much.

It all boils down to coaching.....which in turn is on Spo. Riley will never fire him though. Thats his protege, and the guy has been with the club and paid his dues for many years.

wade is borderline larry holmes, and bosh is soft so this is to be expected. wade has to endure some amazing amounts of pain in order to ball like this, so he cant be consistent anymore, he has to save it for when they really need it. bosh needs to see the bigs distracted by the combo of bron and wade driving the lane before he can go off.

This is something that people ignore. I don't think I've ever seen an elite level team exert that amount of energy playing defense before.
