I've had this game downloaded for a few weeks and I finally gave it a shot yesterday. First strategy game I've ever played and man this thing is fun as shyt

im sorry but i just dont have the patience for these type games...cudnt make it past the tutorial tbh

This game is fukkin hard brehs. I'm playin this shyt on normal difficulty because this my first strategy game and I got dudes dropping left and right 
Idk where to move my people so they're all safe, cars blowin up on me and shyt, damn this game don't play. It is fun as hell though.

try to all always move from cover to cover. take your time, and play it safe. like someone already said, Overwatch is your friend. after you see the aliens, sometimes it's better to just get everyone into good cover, and let the aliens kinda come to you
if a car gets hit and catches fire, it will blow up the next move, so get away from it (I think the blast radius is just the squares immediately around it)
when you start, all your guys are the same. but as you level them up, you want to move towards a diverse squad, with a sniper, support (medic), heavy, assault, etc. then you can get into better strategies where players have different roles/abilities
it's definitely the kind of game that once I 'figured it out', I wanted to start over
I lost my Col. Sniper earlier today doing a UFO mention 
Then I had to shoot him again when he revived as a zombie
But whats the best strategy for dealing with the mind control aliens? They always take control of one of my best guys and I have to scramble to get away from them so I don't have to clap up one of my own guys..
