I love Ghost but SC is as much a Superb album as it is Ghost's. The cadence, wordplay, off kilter word association is Superb's trademark and it's all over that album. Dude was a whole child molester though so no daps from me regarding his person.
This is the overblown stuff I was talking about. "As much a Superb album as it is Ghost's" is such a ridiculous statement, especially when the biggest takeaway most people have on SC is Ghost's abstract style which the signature track of which, Nutmeg, is one he's documented as writing on his own in Africa and the abstract style is one you can hear being developed by Ghost as he works it out & develops it through Ironman & Forever & guest spots like The Game.
Don't mistake a collaborative contribution as whole cloth authorship. Supreme Clientele is Ghost's album. 'Perb's there, but in the periphery &, again, he's much more involved in Bulletproof Wallets.
