Superb also later switched it up, stating it was his style, his influence, because Ghost wasn't in the streets anymore. He also said he wrote for Shy too. Shy replied with you gave me a few hooks and a couple of lines.
But Ghost and Rae wrote together, Ghost and Trife wrote together, Ghost and Superb wrote together. For SC, Ghost & RZA were writing together. Hell, most of the songs Superb referred to saying he wrote, he's on. I honestly think Ghost, especially during that time didn't remember who wrote what, and recited verses he remembers...regardless of whose verse it was. Like these days, he does Rae's verse on Black Jesus during shows...with Rae standing there. The style that became Ghost's style existed before Superb and after Superb. Ghost's pen is solidified. Everyone in Wu's is...except Dirty. And Dirty could freestyle, but on albums he spit whatever came to mind...GZA/RZA verses. I remember that argument when GZA told him "that's most of my ish you spit on your album."
No writer writes 100% of everything. It's impossible. Because there is someone around that's going to give you lines, phrases, setups....or you will even take things you heard in conversations and incorporate them into what you're writing.
