Who didn't see that coming though?

He's a 37 y/o man. I knew he couldn't do it all game....so did Pop who tried to rest him when giving Splitter some minutes.

The Spurs didn't keep up the pace in the 2nd half in terms of getting Timmy the ball earlier in the shot clock. Miami's bigs started to front but they were fronting in the 1st half too.

The Spurs did stretch the lead in the 3rd playing more of a grind it out game with several broken plays here or there but they should have got the ball to Duncan a lot more in the 4th. Duncan also needs to be more selfish. His jumpshot was going in off the catch, the post moves inside, using the glass... he had it all going. Should have had 35-40 points atleast.

Bingo. And since y'all are knowledgable, i'm sure y'all seen it quite often in the second half where he was open on the wing for the bank shot after he set the screen on the PnR but for whatever reason, they bounce pass him the rock. :mindblown:

I don't care what anyone says, but Tony Parker not being a true PG hurts the Spurs as much as it helps them.

Tim stopped jumping more than once after the first half. Pop tried his best to keep Timmy relevant.

yeah, he was open quite a bit on the roll because of the aggressive PNR defense of Miami. The Spurs guards sometimes get tunnel vision.

I don't get this logic really. 37 is not old. These dudes playing fukking basketball. George foreman won a HW championship when he was past 40. So did Hopkins. Randy Couture was winning at 40 in the UFC. Don't tell me basketball is anywhere near as taxing as those sports.

He did his job in the first half, it was up to Ginoccio to contribute like the rest of the team did :pacspit:
