This is true. Dude rocked a cow vest with all the swag of a man that could give a fukk less what you think. Its kinda to the extent of when your boy gets married and doesnt go out much. And when he does he has one drink and goes home early.i did not say the rock wasn't talented. i'm saying he's corny. he's become a cartoon caricature of himself, like hogan has. he shows up once a year, he spouts his catchphrases, he panders to the crowd, and he goes home. at this point it's basically a novelty act. but because of that, it hasn't overstayed it's welcome.
but when you chop it down he is guilty of all the things that people accuse cena of being. in fact when you remove all the window dressing, their act is one and the same. always smiling, always laughing, constantly pandering to the crowd, constantly reminding us how much love they got for the people, etc.

that is exactly what rock does each and every time he comes back, only he does it once a year as opposed to every monday night. and that's precisely the case i am trying to make, that if rock's act were a mainstay on the show he would be accused of doing the same "goofy shyt" as well and we would grow tired of it.

i, like mostly everyone else, was very happy to see rock on raw. the only argument i've made in this thread is that he's become corny now. and you shouting from the mountain tops about his glorious past doesn't change my opinion on the matter either.
