Once again, if LeBron went to Boston, it's the same.
KD had other teams in positions to contend if he felt the Thunder would never be able to win it all (which after having a 73-9 team down 3-1, seemed likely false). He went to ready made championship/ATG team that he choked against. Meanwhile, with LeBron en route to a team that got trounced in the first round, nikkas felt Bron+Wade was redundant and may not have even worked.

If KD goes to SAS, LAC, BOS, it's not that big a deal.

As a fan of the sport, it matters. KD is a great talent who robbed fans of a competitive era because he, out of his own mouth, isn't a leader. All of while actually having the talent around him to knock down a conference/league titan (unlike pre-decision-Bron), a front office with an inkling of compentence (unlike pre-decision Bron), and not having career-hampering injuries (unlike another "choker" in T-Mac).

Golden State was ready made. Miami was an experiment.
