Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Weird? Hes a fan of Seinfeld. Whats wrong with that. It also gives him the image of a safe nikka so cacs will buy his records.
it's weird cause most black people didn't watch it... matter of fact, when it was on, most black people had issues with it and friends, for being in nyc with no black people

now add in the fact that it ran at the exact same time as Martin.... it is fukking weird

but really i don't know what came first... the seinfield hookup with elaine... or the idea of the mixtape

if your manager could get you a feature to a major show... even if you never saw one ep... you'd hop on it, given that you were some unsigned nobody and it's fukking elaine... i figure after that, he made it a point to stick with what blew him up

You know its actually funny, I sat down not too long ago & watched the episode when George got caught jaggin off by his mom. The way they said it happened without saying was what made it so funny to me.

This is actually the genius of Seinfeld.

I've said it on here before and i'll say it again: Seinfeld is the most gangsta sitcom in television history,
but niccas don't know because of the subtlety.

If you break down a lot of the exploits, they did some foul chit...but it was presented in such a modest way.

It is the equivalent to cussing someone out without cuss words or raising your voice.

I haven't watched an episode in years, but let's just say that the show is genius. Completely redefined sitcoms. I remember because I was trying to watch it in the late 90s, and just being confused as to why people found it funny. Little did I know that my teen brain couldn't comprehend that I was watching something much deeper than your average sitcom.

If you're gonna watch an episode of Seinfeld, watch the episode from the very beginning. Can't stress that enough. That was always my problem. I'd come in 5 minutes late. and by then, the plot was already too complicated and I would have no idea what the fukk was going on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Seinfeld introduced the A, B and C plots in TV sitcom writing. I'm getting technical here on a screenwriter tip... but think about this. Prior to Seinfeld, you would watch a show that was centered on one person. e.g. Will Smith in Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Every episode had only ONE plot for the entire episode, and that plot always involved Will. For example, today's episode: "Will experiences an earthquake. Hijinks ensue."

Seinfeld came along and said: "OK, the show is about me, but really it's about New York City. And how random and interconnected life is in New York City". So an episode would start with Seinfeld observing something random that's actually important but we never think about: e.g. why can't we just eat the top of the muffins since they taste the best? Why do we have to eat the bottom part that sucks? So Plot A will be Seinfeld's exploration of that and the trouble he gets into trying to answer that question. Meanwhile, Elaine has issues with her new man. Her new bf's doing something random that's irritating her, and she doesn't want to bring it up to him but she can't help but be irritated by it. So that becomes Plot B. Kramer's trying to kick out a tenant. That's Plot C.

So basically you're watching these completely separate stories in one half hour, and they usually come together in the end. Funny as fukk! They were all cowards in their own way. Easily distressed about something random, but too p*ssy to really attack the problem head on. I'm laughing just thinking about this shyt. I gotta watch some episodes.

Just google Seinfeld and read more about it.
then when you reailze the show was actually about how a he comes up with his jokes to make a living :wow:

When Frank stole the Marble Rye back from Susan's parents :scust:

Jerry had to run up on tweety bird's grandma and rob her :scust:

Never cared for Seinfeld but Curb Your Enthusiasm is top 2 comedy shows of all time

Again - this is the beauty of Seinfeld.

Curb was Seinfeld on a pay channel where they could cuss and be vulgar with it.

For example - they did a whole show about having a contest to see who could go the longest
without jacking off. On Curb, they would've just came out and said that. They can't do that
on regular network TV of course, but they managed to do it by double code talk not saying anything dirty
yet still conveying the point.
