Mavs all together have been playing well. Zaza out there legit getting better #s than Deandre..the two fat pieces of shyt from NY/Brooklyn Deron and Felton balling too

The Coli's too busy being on Curry's dikk right now

But yeah he's having a great year so far, hopefully he can keep it up. His game was always one to age slowly

Yes but his longevity is because he was never ran into the ground. The Mavs never required him to rebound like most bigs, nor did they require him to battle other scoring bigs or do big man dirty work like defending the paint.

So when you look there was no reason he wasn't able to last long. Heck Garnett may have been able to age like Kareem if he didn't have to do all that shyt in Minnesota and get ran into the ground.

That is also why Lebron got the hell out of Miami and went back to the Cavs and vice versa.

They have skills that made their game timeless. Dirk has the wet jumpers; therefore, he could score anywhere on the perimeter or shot a fade-away from the post. Duncan's post moves and PnR skill is what made him so invaluable to the Spurs' offensive system. Most front-court players don't have fundamental skills that could extend their careers beyond 15+. Duncan and Nowitzki have separated themselves from that group by staying in shape and working hard on their fundamental skills.

True but those teams did things to extend those dudes careers. The Spurs put young pieces around Duncan like Kareem got in LA and they reduced his minutes as he got older to extend his career. The Mavs basically made sure Dirk never had to do any dirty work on the defensive side of the ball....which also extended his career.

Dirk is a baller and even at this advanced age as an NBA player he is still getting buckets with a high shooting percentage. He probably can do this for another 3 or 4 years with that J of his.

You always run in to Mavs/Dirk threads ready to throw shade:mjlol:

Dirk didn't have to defend in the paint? Was he guarding guards his whole career? His longevity is because he took care of his body and he never had and athleticism or speed so ain't like he gonna lose that.

No disrespect to the GOAT rb but this is the Mavs..fukkin Mavericks. We ain't never had shyt and probably won't again for another 20 years after he leaves :sadcam:

I understand.....but emmit broke records that folks never thought would be broken (shyt equivalent to Kareem scoring record). Not only that the way Jerry runs the Cowboys y'all Dallas fans may never see another Superbowl win.

So thank emmit the gawd and the 3 Superbowl wins he blessed you with.
