The WWE was banking on Wrestlemania bringing people to the network, and it failed. Bryan was the focal point of Mania, so he has to take brunt of the blame. I personally didn't buy it, because I could care less about Daniel Bryan. If Rocky/Cena III was headlining Mania they would have gotten those million subscribers and then some :sas2:

The blame always goes on the champion, unless the IWC likes them, then it's everyone else's fault :sas1:

I can only imagine the wrath of the IWC if this happened when Miz was champion :ohlawd:

I 100% Co Sign this, I have never wavered on the Champion thing, I am the one who invented this view point.

Punk was just as responsible for the lowest quarter hour in the history of wrestling just like Bryan is responsible for this money drop.

:heh: Nah, I love Bryan, but it's just fun to do.:troll:

Daniel Bryan a.k.a. :youngsabo:

WM XXX was the best WM in a long time but all the fukkery with the Network 1 PPV starting up before WM, bad mistake.

Sides do you remember the Sad Stinklette who sat mid-front row waiting for his idol to come down from the rafters... but leaving disappointed... that killed the stock.

how the fukk he do that?

Vince McMahon came up short with the TV rights deal and lost 400 million in one day while under the helm of the Cripple H runs talent era...somehow that means inbreds, hicks, and lifelong slackers had to blame the only thing shining over all that. The usual.

Steve Austin, The Rock, or Hulk Hogan could have been the champ and the WWE still would have lost that money.

the network is going to take at least a year to be successful. whenever you offer a $9.99 per month service that takes away a lot of the $55 PPV buys this was expected.

Its circumstantial.

Look at the other factors.

-Batista wins the Rumble and headlines Wrestlemania.

- Taker loses at Wrestlemania.

- The absence of CM Punk.

- The Demon Kane (say it 47 times)

- MVP comes to TNA.

- Jeff Jarrett announces new promotion.

- Miz starring in another movie.

- Struggle Rae's ugly mug.

- Cameron's bleaching budget.

- Naomi not getting her well deserved title run.

- Khali's contract.

Any of these things could have as much direct impact on the stocks brehs. Trust me I know. I did a stock project once in HS.

the man that's the champ runs the company?

Then they should be blaming Cena. :russ:

Would you settle for blaming Rey Mysterio?

on second thought, yes. lets blame the vainilla midget.
