So far what we know, the two people involved in the matter were Victoria Nuland, spokeswoman for the Secretary of State, and the CIA. So

But it also seems these same emails/memos were release to congress back in March/February during John Brennan's confirmation hearing.

An investigation is warranted for what happened but the politicizing of this going blow so much smoke and mirrors.

They're alleging that the Administration lied about it to save face about Al-Qaeda being decimated during the election. They think the Administration didn't want to admit Al-Qaeda did it because if so that would make Obama look "weak on foreign policy".

But the two subsequent days after the attack Obama first mentioned it as an "act of terror" twice. Then he would eventually state that it was because of a protest which was sparked by a video.

So now the investigation is who knew what and why did they cover it up. So far it appears Victoria Nuland and the CIA are the culprits.
