@PS4 I appreciate the time you took finding recommendations. I went with the Microsoft Xbox One set yesterday. Price matched Amazon at BestBuy yesterday afternoon for $40. The audio quality is pretty good, definitely not on par with the Sony Golds but overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. It'll fit my needs just fine.

Well talk about the quality then bruh. You was acting like Stereo wasn't good enough, couldn't produce surround sound you said. But most reviews I read say those headsets are for "sheeple" who think paying more = :blessed:

The logic is you can't accurately recreate 5.1 or 7.1 with just two speakers (headphones)
You yourself tried to shyt on my Vizio 2.0 with optional sub saying two speakers can't reproduce surround sound like that. So why wouldn't that logic apply for a headset??? :leon:

Now to answer a previous question of yours, Yes I have used gaming headsets.. I used to be a counterstrike player for a good year 100yrs ago

Anywayz, the monoprice joint I found is everything you asked for. Wireless Headset capable of doing 7.1 :wow:
Only negative review is the mic isn't all that great. But on Xbox we have the option of talking via Kinect, or we can rock two headsets at the same time, with the headset that comes with the Xbox used for voice and the Monoprice for game sound. Regardless, everyone should have a pair of these headsets on deck imo :manny:

Stereo is definitely no where near even virtual surround. Like I said, they meet my current needs, but I'll definitely be on the look out for an upgrade as my Xbox one library builds. They aren't terrible. They work well enough.

I decided to cop both the Polks and the Monoprice joints. I'll let you know which is better

PDP AG7 True Wireless Xbox One Headset released in U.S.
Oscar Lee July 7, 2015 Microsoft, News, Xbox One

The PDP AG7 True Wireless Headset has been released in the U.S. region. If you are interested, the third-party product is available for purchase on Amazon with this link.

The Xbox One headset is advertised to provide a “true wireless” solution. The included USB transmitter is capable of offering a maximum range of 40 feet. It also comes equipped with powerful 50mm Neodymium drivers that have two full range audio modes: Bass Boost and Pure Audio. The PDP AG7 True Wireless Xbox One Headset has a noise-cancelling microphone that is both flexible and retractable.

As for comfort, the listing from the online retailer also mentioned that the padded headband can be adjusted for your personal fits. Of course, the patented LED lighting from PDP (one mode will show off a green glow while the other will display the inner circuits of the product) is included as well. Overall, the internal battery should provide up to 16 hours of usage per full charge.

If you are looking for a headset for the Xbox One (especially if you don’t have an adapter for a compatible Xbox 360 headset), you should take a look at the newly-available PDP AG7, which has been officially licensed by Microsoft for use with their current-gen console.
