So what is Nintendo planning to do with this gamecube controller stuff?

The people wanted to use GC controllers on the Wii U, so Nintendo delivered a method for those who already have controllers on deck, and a controller for those who don't. Don't see how it's a bad move at all, since it's an optional peripheral that people actually wanted support for. Nintendo been doing shyt right recently after everybody wrote them off for dead. :ehh:
Well, I'm not counting them out, as I own a Wii U and like the system. I just don't feel like they're releasing enough games, which is why I thinkbringing gamecube titles to their Eshop and allowing players to play with that controller would be huge.

enough games? maybe im wrong but

  • tropical freeze
  • mk8
  • hyrule warriors
  • bayonetta 2 (which if you never played part 1 you can consider it 2 games)
  • smash bros
  • captain toad
all in 10 months? ---- thats not terrible. idk if anything else came out that im not mentioning, other people have more broad taste then me but id say i ate relatively well specially from september to current day.

If we are going lifetime then there is room to begin to complain, but to me expanding my bubble of games i usually play has gotten a lot of use out of my wiiu especially with game fly and cheap deals i.e Monster hunter 3, and that ninja gaiden game. plus remakes, like windwaker....i think of it like the squirrel who save his nuts and when winter comes eats throughout winter, vs the squirrel that is eatin all through summer then when winter comes is hungry.

plus nintendo consistently has backwards compatibility with peripherals and games. i.e wii to gamecube, and wiiu-wii. i cant find too much to gripe about. especially when other systems dont do that

:comeon: I will say it is quality over quantity right now with Nintendo, but that still doesn't cut it for me. Either way their catalog was solid this year, but I look for them to step it up in 2015.
