Funny this thread was just made. Yesterday I was djing a slight graduation kickback for my homie and this white dude starts talking me about how he dj's edm and trap music.

So Im like oh tru so yea play alot of Gucci, Future, Mike Will, etc. Dude literally looks at me like and had no idea who or what I was talking about. Im like nikka how you play 'Trap' music and not know these artists. Then he starts telling me names of random edm artists saying they play 'trap' music. Yeah them nikkas done took the name and the style and RAN with it.

I have no problem with the mixing of the cultures, but at least call it a different name. To call that EDM & Trap fusion just trap music is fukked up.
