It's still here. Was never a real threat to the US IMO.
Liberia hasn't had any new cases for a few weeks now and the last patient was treated recently. We have to go 42 days before we can be declared Ebola free. Guinea and Sierra Leone still have a few new cases.

Ebola just popped up to keep people from wondering how a big ass plane with hundreds of people on it just dropped off the face of the earth and they aren't any closer to finding out what happened to it than they were a year ago.

I was just wondering the same thing. Did see a new case pop up yesterday of someone being transported back to the U.S. with it but just a few months ago everybody was scared as shyt. Either they were using it was a distraction or as a way to fund the vaccination. Either way they love to fukk with our emotions
It's still here. The classification of it has changed. It mainly is now reported under flu like symptoms. Usually they will make a call and an outside agency will come and take the patient out of the hospital somewhere else.

Same thing that happened with bird flu & swine flu... They got Americans shook to the piont they were going to get vacinnated & now that the pharmaceutical companies made their money their is no need to talk about it.

You can only test it on animals for so long. It always comes a point where they have to give it to humans to make sure it works.

1. I never said my friends were treating it. I said I knew people who work as aid workers in the affected countries
2. I said at the rate it was rising, it had the potential to still be a threat...and it still does. Just because the news doesn't talk about something doesn't mean its finished. Its like saying because the news didn't talk about the Sun today that it disappeared.
