if Lebron plays the same way he did today, which was to stat padd throughout the game, and thinking that would be enough, then his legacy would take a BIG hit.

He needs to more assertive, and aggressive and overall dominant. Ya the stat sheets look nice, but at the end of the day, you are judged by wins and loss, and right now Lebron isn't doing too good in that department.

He needs to adjust and be ready for Game 2. He should be more aware that the team needs his offense first.

No one really keeps up with how many championship Magic, Bird and Wilt lost. Who cares.

Magic and Bird didn't constantly jump from team to team tho.

If the heat don't win championships in the next 2 years Lebron will probably be in LA with Dwight since Kobe and Nash will be old and retired by then

You talking about Shaq or Lebron?

By the time Shaq started jumping from team to team his legacy had already been solidified.

His years in Orlando and LA cemented that, winning a ring in Miami was just the icing on the cake.

Lebron is just known as a dude who didn't win a ring for 7 years straight, jumped ship to a powerhouse team and still lost, then finally won one a year later. If the Spurs win this series it will make his legacy look even worse than it already is.

He has the potential to be on Mike and Kobe's level if everything goes well but as of right now his sh1t is looking shakey.

He hasnt jumped from team to team. He signed with a new team after 7 seasons with another one. You say as if he's on team number 4
Mike didnt win a ring for 7 years either and it took 7 years for Kobe to win his next after the 3 with Shaq so that's arbitrary.

And I think given how the Miami team has looked this Playoffs, its pretty much a powerhouse cause of him. I doubt things are even looking shaky, the man has 4 MVPS so even without rings hes already entering that top 10 conversation.
The comparisons are silly anyway since all 3 (Kobe, Lebron, MJ) won in argubaly different eras with each just slightly overlapping the others

Still seems comically reactionary to say he cant win when hes made 3 straight finals. I think when its all said and done he'll be in the top 5-10 (he has a good chance surpassing Bird maybe Hakeem)

If it happens that would be a huge blow. He would have one ring in 3 years with a superteam and that one ring would be in a lockout shortened season.
