So what's going to happen after gentrification is complete?

The suburbs
We know the rich cacs are moving people in the hood out of the inner city each year. As you can see alot of suburbs are becoming hoods and ghettos and some are just as bad as the neighborhoods in the Inner City. Personally I think when its all said and done, we're gonna see hoods just as bad as the 80s and shyt, probably even worse. The only reason crime started going down was the govt put the hammer down to clean up the streets(of the inner city). They didnt want them rich folks having to drive thru da southside or da eastside to go to work. They didnt want poor people living on prime real estate. But after they kicc all the poor people out to the burbs, and all the rich ppl come bacc to the city, then what will happen? It will no longer be a need for the cacs to interact with the less desirables as we will all be on the outskirts of the city, far away from them. Police will decrease since we are no longer able to hurt white people as we are secluded from the main cities. shyt is going to be crazy :ohlawd:

In Dallas, From Cleveland
I can see this in certain areas...

Like in the Dallas metroplex, you have Desoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster which are considered suburbs but shid i don't cause it ain't nothing but nikkas out there.

They know what they doing though, they have certain suburbs targeted for "diversity" others are gonna alway be mainly white with a few mintories sprinkled in there.

I don't think it will ever get to the point that the inner city will be filled with whites though, not in the major cities at least...

I doubt it

Suburban living and white flight had a lot of factors involved that we likely won't see play out again

Government subsidy, racism, unethical racist banking practices etc

Like a poster said its a cycle. The projects that all these folks from the hood call home were once the same state of the art luxury apartments you see the city putting up now. I remember seeing a video about how technologically advance New York City housing was compared to big homes out in Long Island that was issued in the 50s and 60s to get folks to move back into the city. The property value will fall and white folks will be yearning for the big house and white fence. The city life is a temporary allure for these crackas. fukk em.

By civilized I mean less violent

The violence we saw from the 70s-90s has slowed down big time

Maybe in terms of volume, but it could be argued that crimes committed now are more "violent" in terms of what is being done. That doesn't mean society is becoming more "civilized". Being "civil" is as much about attitude as it is about actions.

it's a cycle, like someone said earlier. however, i have a feeling how things have been working out, economically speaking, that the cycle is slowing to a halt. i think a new condition's going to arise out of these recent occurrences. hence why i feel like it's better to be ahead of the curve. like, considering everyone's attempting to move back into cities while the cities are being gentrified, that's a sign, imho. anywhere the money is moving, you should be moving as well. even if it is slightly above your means, struggle for a little while and work your ass off. it'll pay off in the long run. city officials, politicians, business people, etc are only going to be concerned about where the money is...

Do you think that Dallas might become like LA, in that the suburbs are just as dangerous as the inner city? Lancaster becoming to Dallas as to what Compton is to LA

Dont even get me started on Balch Springs
