It may happen one day. I wouldnt say that there on the level of places like compton, long beach or inglewood yet as far as violence, but the ratchetness makes up for it. I stay right across the street from West Mesquite HS. shyt isnt the south bronx but you can tell it changed a lot in the past couple years. Most people dont know how many kids have been shot or killed at West Mesquite, while still going there. nikkas like to sweep it under the rug but its only so long city council can pretend

During white flight the banks essentially gave white people loans for free and refused black people. Also, when black people had enough money to buy their houses they were straight up told you cant live in this neighbourhood.

Alot of cities were bad before the crack era too.

LA had over 1,000 murders in 1980. Chicago and Houston both reached their murder peak in the 70s, despite popular belief
