Ay, real talk...considering how movies are today (all action, zero plot, zero suspense, zero build up), that shyt was above 7 or 8. Now if this was the 90's it would be a 6...maybe 5. Zombie movies fell off period every since GR started cranking out bullshyt, but It was decent, nice pacing. Just be prepared to sit yo ass down for a long time, the movie is well over 2 hours.

the last 30 minutes was probably better than most horror films i've seen in the last two yrs. it really borrowed a lot from Last of us

if they followed the book's lead, this could easily have given up 6 epic movies.

the book spanned the globe and dealt with global politics.
it also painted intimate portraits of individuals.

the potential was lost with WWZ the movie but it's enjoyable on it's own if you don't consider the book it was "based upon".

the book was epic so it would have been nice to match or top it, but that would have been really difficult to do. I thought the interview and different perspective on the outbreak was great as it is.

i wish i can sit in the meetings to see how these discussions for movies sound like.
