That’s a huge downside. The other downside to forums nowadays is your options are SLIM on the backend wise. Xenforo is the only semi affordable option.

there are some open source forum software but the smiley feature is pretty dope.

Forums haven't gone anywhere. The best ones simply don't allow lurkers, so a lot of the entertainment-over-everything mindset gets filtered out and never find them unless invited..

What's really good with this site? The phone thing where you get attacked by a virus. Now on an actual desktop, you can't even scroll. A forum should not be this hard to operate correctly. @Brooklynzson, bro what is good? :dwillhuh:
