There is only so much humans can do in re: water conservation.... it actually has to start raining more.

But the history of California has been all about places not having water, and figuring out how to get water to them.

They got that huge ass oil spill as well, the media has been hush hush about that.

It's made the news breh.... its just nowhere near being on some Exxon Valdez or Gulf Of Mexico type shyt.

The Santa Barbara Spill was around 100k Gallons.... Exxon Valdez was 10- 30 Million gallons and the BP Spill was 210 Million gallons.

Oil spill in water near California which is going through a drought is a pretty big deal no matter the size of the spill.

Cotdamn....I've never seen the hydroelectric dam picture.. :wow:.

I went to this conference last week, and one of the sessions was on the California drought. The lady from California was talking about the hydroelectric dams and how we forget that they not only provide drinking water, irrigation,.........but obviously electricity and if there is not enough water to turn the turbines then electric outages are very likely. So looking at that reservoir behind that dam is quite shocking....... :francis:

Also she was talking about how much water it takes for each of the major crops they produce. Shiit is cray....like 160 gallons for a can of almonds this size.
Blue-Diamond-Almonds.png
.. almonds have raced to become one of the top crops in the state, almost doubling acreage in the last few years...California produces most of the fruits and vegetables Americans consume ....

Throw in bottle water companies using water for 30 years without a permit, fracking operations polluting aquifers, then selling the polluted wastewater back to farmers ....... then Cali is looking real suspect. By the way, everything I typed can be verified, there is no tin foil anywhere.

Hell..............WATCH THIS VIDEOS and Check the LA Times link .......ayaya . :francis:

California isn't getting it's water from the ocean....if it was, there wouldn't be a drought in the first place.... Low rainfall, and over consumption by industrial use..and fukking fracking are the main culprits behind the drought.
