So when did it become popular to act like Eminem DIDN'T outshine Jay on "Renegade"?

About 80% of the stuff said on this website is rarely said anywhere else so that is why most of the time, I just sit here like this when I read comments:

:mjlol: :troll: :usure::martin:

I thought they both did well. Jay-Z was rapping about people relate to the stories and struggles in his music, and he is a renegade because certain people want to knock him for his occupation because they can't understand him. Eminem was rapping about the public perception of his music and how suburban America saw it as poisoning the younger generation. He is a renegade because of the impact his music has on listeners and the way political groups condemn him as a subversive anarchist, comparing it to religion.
