I like how people who hate on Jay come in and say shyt like "I would be fine with if he didn't release an album again, he doesn't need to release an album" etc. As if he makes music for them :snoop:

The stupid thing with big rappers like Jay is that he still wants to compete with people like Drake and them on a commercial plane.
He could just drop an album next week doing whatever the fukk he wanted to on it, but he wants songs that he can perform for large diverse audiences (cause that show money is crazy).

MCHG was back but it's always refreshing to hear Jay drop some dope songs at least.

I agree. I want the older artist like Jay-Z, Nas, and other 90's rappers who can still go musically at a solid to great level continue to drop music and albums. It's something that we see in other genre's so why not rap and hip hop? I can't imagine the playlist at a Jay-Z or Nas concert 10 years from now with all the hits they have. Imagine how fresh Street Dreams, Nas is Like, Where i'm From, and other songs from the 90's they have will STILL sound fresh ANOTHER 10 years from now.

That's what I mean and they can still keep on adding songs to their repertoire, I mean his album might not be as good but neither are any oldies in other genres but they might drop a song or two that sticks. Rappers need to stop seeing themselves as athletes, it's not embarrassing to not be big or dope as you once were.

It was reported awhile back that he and bey were working on a joint album. That could be dope
Beyonce is so talented but somehow still so corny to me, her swag on records is madd generic, pseudo ratchet. And Jays last album was worse than Nastradamus, imo

Jay can never release another verse again and he is set. He has blessed us with so much heat over the years that I am fine with him truly being retired this time if he is.

She portrays an everywoman persona on purpose. And I disagree on MCHG :pachaha:
