they arent better than the 2002 bucs either. that bucs team ran through every team on their way. seattle was close to losing to a team with a struggling offense and a qb with like 20ish starts under his belt.
both of them killed the MVPs too, bucs made it even worse...I mean, oakland players thought their own coach sabotaged them after they got asswhooped so badly
I'm sorry, as great as that Bucs defense was their Superbowl performance was just as much aided by their opponent, not to mention they had the whole fukkin playbook. This defense is a 1000000x more impressive than what Tampa did. gtfoh, in a pass happy league like this no defense was suppose to do what was just done. I feel you tho, this would be like if the Chiefs won the Superbowl and had an all time great defense I'd be throwin hella salt too.

That speed, size, power, and depth. One of the greatest and did it in a QB era, not a running game era.
They don't have the DL as some of those teams but their LB is as good as some of the greats and they have the GOAT secondary.

seattle was close to losing the game at home against us
tb was never close to losing any games in playoffs. and they won a game away from home before the superbowl
seattle is an amazing defense, and youre right, its tough to overrate it because of todays passing era. still, TBs defense dominated in playoffs more than seattle did.

Too many good defenses to say that right now........with the total collapse of the Denver offense it just got out of hand too quick so it's not a good barometer.....It was going to be hard for Denver to do much anyway but throwing picks and fumbling added to the effect.
It's crazy b/c as good as the 00 Ravens were, that Giants team had an overrated Kerry Collins at QB.

question to any old head in here i wasn't around for the 80's and 90s but, is this seattle secondary the GOAT, if not who was better.
What QB's did TB face? Gannon was clearly the best.
Tampa had a better DL and LB core but Seattle LB core is close and their secondary is superior to Tampa's.
i wasn't even born when the 85 bears won. the 00 ravens is still the greatest i have ever seen. it's a toss up between these seahawks and the bucs in '02 but they are def top 3.i knew they were going to smash denver, but i didn't know how bad... yeesh

We're talking Chicago in the 80s, Baltimore Ravens two super bowls, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl year, Steelers years......just too many teams to say who is what.......It takes a team to win the Super Bowl.......Offense, Defense, Special Teams.
lol, of course they were yall team is equally as great Seattle just got the win that time. Niners would of done a similar job on the donks if they were in the 'bowl.
Like I said, TB's defense was great and they went into cold ass Philly and won when no one expected them to. But the crookedness of that Superbowl game knocks points off to me, Seattle damn near lost because they played much better teams than what Tampa faced in their Superbowl run. Niners of this season would dust the 02 Bucs.
