Longshots of longshots are the two GA open seats, the TX seat...

Only way Montana would be in play would be if Steve Bullock ran but because for whatever reason he's not planning on running, that seat stays republican

Doug Jones is toast in Alabama. So Democrats need to win a MINIMUM of 4 seats to get back control of the Senate.

The NC might be the most reasonable and dependable to flip. Those others seem quite tenuous even if they are flipped. Plus, you'll have to worry about Blue-Dog Dems voting with Republicans and having silliness like what happened with the initial Obamacare vote. Cornhusker kickback, IIRC.

Reason #1 why a super progressive agenda will never take off. Repubicans wont vote for it and moderate dems will be deciding vote.

This is why I'm surprised he hasn't out flanked the Dems on something trivial to his base like student loans. He wouldn't lose any of his current support but he'd probably gain some with millennials.

Trump could stand on national television and admit to working with Russia to have putin established as supreme leader of the United states, and his base would suddenly be on board with life under Russian dictatorship.



Trump's followers are very cult like and will excuse everything he does, if he decided to pass reparations tomorrow, his followers would back him %100 and argue that it was neccessary.

On the flip side, Trump could start demanding all minorities be put into concentration camps and gassed on some nazi shyt, while kicking off WW3 in the name of preserving white idealism, and his base would still be fully behind him.

Trump's people are different, this isnt just another Republican politician. He wasn't lying when he said he could stand in the middle of the street and shoot someone in cold blood, and still not lose supporters.

normally i would say if trump wins, mcsally wins, but not this time. she is unpopular. as for gun control, mark kelly's wife was shot in the head, so he says he is a gun owner but wants more gun control.
