If you are an engineer and have means you can work on a flying car prototype as well. the only thing that makes it an elite space is maybe the skills and means required but in reality most of the working concepts today are just focused on turning drones that already exist into bigger manned aircraft. flying cars already exist in private hands and inventor hands not elite groups.
