around 95 i believe, at least that's what i read for people in cali. second year it will kick in to around 350 and then third year it goes up to around 700.

at first i was all for this, but :pacspit:this dumb ass shyt now. forcing people to pay more for health insurance while getting the same coverage is some bullshyt.

None of that languager is permitted in HL. Take that to F. Besides that,

@Box Cutta from now on, when people post their rates, either high or low. State where you are, income, family status, age, etc. That should help people get a good read and then people in here can actually help. FYI, there's no way you should be paying 321 as a single guy about to graduate from undergrad, worst case scenario you grab catastrophic care. Someone isn't reading. As for premiums going up, yeah...that sucks for some of us.

That is the actual calculator for about how much you should be paying using the federal exchange. You can pick your age, state, and county. That should help people figure out their options.

Brehs do you live in states that expanded Medicaid? You could get on that. Also make sure you're looking at the exchange prices correctly - some people don't know about the subsidies. My brother is gonna be paying about $100 a month due to a large subsidy.

I guess I'ma just have to eat that fine for the first year.

Aside from graduating and shyt...I'm also going to move out of this state soon...so I don't even really know how that works with all this.

That's fair. I have the fortune of still being on my parent's plan so I don't worry about it. I just try to help ppeople out. This is the law whether we like it or not so individuals need to learn how to make it work for them as well as possible.

Eh I guess I'm in the minority here.

I'm still in school and work. My monthly premium for the plan I chose was $210 but I got a $190 tax credit. So all in all I'm only paying $20 a month. I havent had health care since I was about 13 years old and it's put me at almost $10,000 in debt with medicals bills. You brehs just don't know the relief that I can finally go see a doctor.
