stop it. u just want him to win finals MVP so you can say he's better than kobe. when the reality is, he's more of another passenger on this title ride than the conductor.

Kobe in 2001 was more significant to the Lakers title than Duncan this season. FACT.

Parker's having a mediocre series by his standards.

I think it's Diaw and it's not even close. It might now shot in the stat sheet, but he's the most dominant player out there for the Spurs.

The way he's picking apart Miami's D is crazy.I think he puts the most pressure on the Heat's defense with his ability to see the floor/execute sets from the high post. He's even bullying Bosh/Lewis down on the block and scoring when need be.

Games haven't been close since they inserted him into the starting lineup.

As I said in the Lebron/Jordan thread, Diaw has a Jason Kidd like ability to dominate a game without scoring a single point.

His basketball intelligence is giving the Heat a complete & thorough ass whooping out there.

Will the league give him that MVP, though:sas2:

I think it's going to Duncan no matter what

Kobe was more consistent and dynamic for his career.

From 2001-2013 (13 regular seasons), Kobe Bryant averaged: 28.1 PPG (on 56 TS%), 5.7 RPG, 5.2 APG, 1.6 SPG, 0.5 BPG.In the playoffs he averaged: 28.5 PPG (on 55 TS%), 5.5 RPG, 5.2 APG, 1.5 SPG, 0.5 BPG.

much better than Duncan over any 13 year stretch.

Also Kobe's resume shows that consistent greatness based on his cumulative accolades and stats.

15 time All-NBA Selection - tied for MOST ALL TIME
11 time All-NBA First Team - tied for MOST ALL TIME
9 time All-Defense First Team - tied for MOST ALL TIME
31,700 points (regular season) - 4th ALL TIME
5,640 points (playoffs) - 3rd ALL TIME

only thing Duncan has one Kobe is one more regular season and finals MVP. everything else, Kobe is ahead.

Coach poppovich if not kawhi. If we lose series, still praying. This man knows how to coach and fit the pieces together. Right lineups, matches, plays, everything. Preaches teamwork, chemistry, and fundamentals. And kawhi? His numbers speak for themselves. The silent assassin. Everyone else was expected to perform at a high level. He reminds me of rondo from a few years back. Playing with three superstars as a young player and broke out during those playoffs. Leonard gonna be a problem next season with more exposure.

Roy Hibbert should be nominated...

At first I thought he only infected chalmers...but now it's pretty appearent that everyone except Bron and Bosh got infected...Bron to a degree since he somehow never gets the ball to bosh...after bosh makes his first 3 or 4 shots...

Kobe was robbed of one or two mvps during the rape trial years too. And he's finished top 5 in MVP voting every year except one since 2002. Duncan hasn't been that high in a long time. Much Respect to Duncan but Kobe has played at a higher level for a longer period of time for a myriad of coaches. Kobe has had to carry the team,

the disrespect nikkas have for Kobe on here is ridiculous. he's literally been a top 3 player for 13 consecutive seasons (2001-2013). no one else since Jordan can say that.
