you got a source for the first part?
the second part...i could picture em like
ahh i seem to have derailed the questions a touch though ima smoke this and let @Ill and @tmonster do their thing.. i honestly think theres too many overlaps in modern religion with the older ones.. but i cant knock your faith

Its all explainable scientifically. I don't need false words from a false god to tell me these things.
Do you have any other sources stating that rivers, streams and lakes will turn red like blood? How it happened doesn't take away from the fact it happened.
The Bible also said Israel would return as a nation and it is the only nation to do so. Some say the rothchields helped but it still happened.

Water is wet. The sky will be blue.
I just provided the scientific reason for why rivers turn red. Now thats not good enough for you?
The Bible predicted it? Oh, word. Thats such a bullshyt argument it hurts. Have you considered that throughout history, rivers have turned read from the bacteria/algae in the water (per the source I linked) and because of this, people in the old days wrote about it, and knew about it, so they predicted that it will happen again? Thats not a mystical premonition. Thats history repeating itself and "believers" choosing to think thats Gods way and not think logically that this phenomenon has occurred plenty of times in the past and therefore may happen in the future.
Are you aware we have had over 30 rivers and streams turn blood red since May? I would love to know why it's not in the media.
The issue is they still end up blood red. A book from 2k years ago says 500 rivers will turn red in 2015 and it happens. Having an explanation for each of them does not negate the fact it happened.
It's the issue of being specific not some random history will repeat itself.
There are some things that can't happen till the Temple is rebuilt. That is not a once in a century event. Are people going to say it's stages when the temple is announced and the pope makes a deal with Israel for 7 years for peace and security?
but god according to you, came from nothingThe big bang.
Keep moving the goalpost, breh. Take a few hours offline and come back to what I posted. You seem rather intelligent outside of your blind faith so try to think logically about what I said. If you can, please post the exact Bible verse that states in 2015 500 rivers will turn red.
So, lets keep it 100. You're telling me there will be an additional 470 rivers that turn red before Dec 31, 2015. I'd be willing to place a hefty wager that that will not occur.
Nostradamous "predicted" the WTC 9/11 attack http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/t/terrorpredict.htm#.U_vDW0u83AU
Does that make him God now?
Vague references in historical books can always be vaguely applied to situations. The same climate scenarios that occur now, occurred back in the day the Bible was written. Lets not forget that the Bible was meant as a historical record to pass on to the next generation. Over thousands of years its been edited, changed, and taken out of context. The book you know now, is not the same book as 2k or 4k years ago.
I implore you to look at this subject through a scientific lens. You can explain EVERYTHING logically this way instead of copping out to our human lack of knowledge and saying oh I don't know so God must have done it.
but god according to you, came from nothing
he also fits the criteria of fiction, because hes been said to exist in 1000 different formsGod fits the criteria of being spaceless, timeless and immaterial..

I will admit I left out the word if regarding the 2015 thing but looking at what we have today doesn't change the point of what the OP talks about.
So far the only options in this thread have been God and a teapot.
I've looked at the research of physicists, astronomers, noble prize winners, Einstein, hawking, Lennox and others. The articles have been written and the math has been done but people don't like the answers.
If scientists can make an argument for the creation of the universe and saying it resembles the creation found in Genesis would people agree? John Lennox @ Oxford has a phenomenal argument for it but even for others an Oxford Professor is not enough.
There are so few arguments on the table regarding the big bang because scientists are looking for a way to explain something timeless, spaceless and immaterial. What ever idea has been on the table has to fit those criteria. I'm not saying that for myself. Check out the science already done. I would hope people will not take my word and go research for themselves.
We know more about God than the big bang but which one is taught in classes?
