Who was the 1st to put the WORD trap in a song title or put it in the title of their album?

T.I. right?

Were there rappers in ATL describing the act of distributing non-government regulated narcotics as "trapping" before T.I.?

If so...can anybody post any examples? I know alot of 90's era Memphis rappers would say the word "trap" every now and then in a song...but never heard it in a song title or seen it on a album or tape cover.

Now the SOUND of trap music is thudding 808 basslines over cinematic instrumentals + dopeboy raps with catchy repetitive hooks...Squeeky, Zirk, Paul, Juicy and an assortment of other Memphis artists from the 90's were doing this style of rap before anybody i can think of...

There's a couple of OutKast songs where they say trap but no titles. There's bound to be other ATL artists before TI as well as other cities

Ti and Jeezy

Which is ironic cause all these new jacks stay trying to diss em.

nikkas don't respect their elders in Hip Hop. Thought everyone knew that, especially the ADD generation.
