The World, but from BK
Looks like they start each night around 8. They have TV crews parked by Church & 54th. That's where everything was last night. There, the 67th precinct, and the spot he got shot seem to be the main spots.

And right now I'm indoors and I can hear those helicopters outside from several blocks south.

damn, u right there in the belly of the beast?

that's what i'm saying, if the turn of events was a little different and little man got in an altercation with another nikka and blasted him you wouldn't hear nothing about community action blah blah, it would of been just another day in the hood. most of these people just want to cause a ruckus and bytch about something.

yup

how about marching when tavarian kills lamar

Well people of similar races kill each other all the time. People get outraged by the police because they are supposed to protect us yet as African Americans, a lot of us feel that they protect everyone EXCEPT us. You never hear about them constantly killing white people or asians. Crime isnt unique to the black community, there are criminals of all races and people are tired of black people being slain.

I got off the train from work on church to get some food on nostrand forgetting about all that shyt going on. Came out to the lights, police on literally every corner. shyt feels like a movie. Like we on lock down or something. Plus the helicopters flying over every 15 mins.

Ever notice tho the helicopter is out now but the only other times i can remember hearing it fly around so often is when a cop gets shot. :mjpls:

Abdoulaye Barry, 24, who works at African Movies, at Church Ave. and E. 31st St., described how rioters tried to storm the business. He said he was outside, saw rioters causing mayhem in the streets, and rushed back to urge his co-workers to lock the store’s gates. Rioters rushed the entrance, fighting with workers as they struggled to lock the roll-down gates, he said.
The workers succeeded — barely. But they locked themselves into the store from the inside. Firefighters later had to cut the gates to liberate them.

At a Rite Aid drug store on Church Ave. near Albany Ave., which had about 60 people inside at the time, at least one rioter physically assaulted a customer — cracking him over the head with a glass bottle. A manager of the store was also assaulted; he refused medical attention, the spokeswoman said.

I can understand the anger and the resulting riot(but not agree with it) but why this? why destroy your own neighborhood and take it out again innocent bystanders?

Agreed, why not take a page of out Occupy Wall Street's ball and :troll: Manhattan?

Like Lower Manhattan, Midtown, Upper East (South of the hood part) and West Sides and anywhere in between (Except for LES, since that's a black community as well).

As much as a hot mess OWS was overall, one thing I gotta give them credit for is doing their fukkery right in the middle of Lower Mantthan :myman:

Snobby office workers couldn't even chill in the park during their lunch breaks and shyt :umad:

they can protest all they want in their neighborhood, since it will be easier

but no need for the destruction

Thank God I'm white and don't have to worry about things like this with the police :whew:

It's like being 6'5" and watching a bunch of 5'3" guys complain about how women don't give them a chance :heh:.....all you can do is just :manny:

That's the word bit.

In london, it started as a protest, but as it went on it turned into poor people just trying to get free shyt, every JD sports in london (it seemed) got looted :heh:

But the burning of local businesses was what really made people look like savages, they burned a shoe shop in Croydon that had been there for about 150 years or something, run by 4 generations of the same family, employed like 20 local people, everything was destroyed, plus the mugging of random passers by all caught on camera really made the protest look bad and they lost all support of the common people.

It undermines everything that is good about protest.
