The cops around here especially the D's are mad aggressive. They did some shyt like that to my boy when they saw him adjusting his belt. He was coming out the barber shop on church ave stopped to fix his belt and the boys ran out the unmarked car tackled him, he thinks hhes getting jumped and robbed. They threw him on the ground talking about show me the gun wheres the gun where the gun. They still haven't even id themselves yet still asking him wheres the gun calling him a liar. Thats when he realized it was police and he tells them he was just fixing his belt. They finished searching him on the ground mind you, then just leave him there and dip.

That stop and frisk thing is very sad. It's like people don't know their rights. It is unconstitutional. You cannot search or seize anything without probable cause. I was driving home from Queens a year or so back and I saw it for the first time, I was like

Guy had like a gap bag and was walking down the street. The police pull up on the sidewalk and block him off, Exited the car and start searching him AND his bag.

Once, I was driving someone's car and it didn't have registration and insurance (i know dumb move). The cops pulled me over and asked me for my papers. I wasn't speeding or anything. He asked for my papers and I asked him why he pulled me over. He kept asking for my papers and I told him that once he tells me why he pulled me over he can have my papers.

If he didn't have just cause I would have pulled off (probably would have been another dumb move). But he had previously ran the out of state plates while we were inside the restaurant eating, which takes a long time to return with information, and found out that the car didn't have registration and insurance. He didn't tow the car or anything, which he could have. I just stood my ground, because technically they can't demand a darn thing from you without probable cause, which he needs to reveal.

Do you ever notice when a cop pulls someone over they say,"Do you know why I pulled you over?" They need to have a reason, you can't pull someone over just because you felt like it. This guy walked up to the car with his partner shining flashlights in the car and immediately started questioning me and asking for information. He must have been so surprised at my brazenness that he gave me a $90 ticket and let me go home. The cops here are so bold and arrogant sometimes.

As riot police filled the streets, the crowd also surged into the Rite Aid on Church Avenue near Albany Street and trashed it about 9:15 p.m., pulling items off the shelves and attacking the store manager, clerks and security guard, the FDNY said. The group stole some items from the store and cash from the register, sources said.

One man who had been assaulted and was bleeding from the head was rushed to Kings County Hospital in unknown condition, the FDNY said.

Sgt. Mourad Mourad racked up three suits while he was a plainclothes cop on Staten Island, and Officer Jovaniel Cordova racked up two at Brooklyn’s 70th Precinct — all alleging various civil rights violations including illegal stop and search and false arrest.
