This is definitely a two horse race between the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz.

Since both Bubba Ray and D'Von were over due to catch phrase "D'VON! WHAT? GET THE TABLES!" and sharing a team finisher(dudley death drop) while the Hardy Boyz was all about Jeff, I'ma go with the Dudleyz.

I was a pretty big Dudley's stan back in the day. Def my favorite tag team of that bunch, but all 3 had great chemistry together.

The Dudleyz made that rivalry special and is what took it to a new level. I always gauge overness on how the causal fan reacts and my dad who didnt watch wrestling had started to watch during this time and was a big Dudleyz fan. Particularly Bubba Ray

the dudley's going in but after seeing all the crazy shyt jeff was doing on behalf of the hardy's boyz they were the real winners of that feud. At that point Edge and Christian were just there.

All things considered I gotta go with the Dudleys

The Hardy's were over with the women as a result of their pretty boy good looks and the dudes for Jeff's high-flying shyt
Edge and Christian weren't really over until the first TLC match but after that they were more the comedy duo the fans loved to hate
Dudleys were over MASSIVE from the start and the tables shyt only helped; later on the WASSAAAAAAP headbutt was probably top three crowd reaction in the company after the People's Elbow and the Worm

Speaking of the Worm, Too Cool were probably more over than all of them for a couple of months in mid 2000 :lupe:

I never got the hype for Too Cool

To answer the question it was pretty even, maybe the Hardys and Dudleys being more over. But once Edge and Christian turned comedic heels they were just as over. I miss the days when tag team wrestling meant something.

Too Cool was all about that dance and the worm:blessed:

That was my shyt:yeshrug:

I really think all teams were tied but if I had to choose it would be the duds for the table and wasssssup spots...it was a guranteed crazy pop in that time period.

Its crazy to really think about but as crazy a visual as a full fledge yes chating crowd is now..atleast 10 cats could that reaction in the attitude era:wow:

I wanna say the Dudleys due to the violence they brought to the feud, but E&C and Hardys were just as over. To be fair though all the tag teams had shine during that era, Too Cool, APA and the New Age Outlaws were just as over at one point.

Edge and Christian was pushed the hardest....the crowd really loved the Dudleyz when they turned face and Lita was more over than all of them. Edge and Christian eventually became like Angle's sidekicks the second half of 2000.

The Dudleys really made that TLC style to me. Edge Christian and the Hardys had already had that ladder match at No Mercy. The tables brought it to the next level. Jeff Hardy was pretty fukking over with the high risk swantons. Edge got some huge pops because you always knew he was going to spear Jeff in mid air on some type of spot.

But the Dudley's had it I think. D-Von get the tables, the 3Ds and power bombs through the tables. The diving headbutts. I think the Dudley's really made those TLC matches.

To be honest I rewatched that No Mercy ladder match between the Hardys and E&C and it wasn't as awesome as I remember. It was largely just high spots over and over. DDT off the ladder. Twist of fate off the lader. Downward spiral off the ladder. Impaler off the lader. Etc.

It was so novel at the time though and it's still a classic match but the TLCs blow it away.
