Dude, he had a lot of writers.... I dont know how to break this to you but this shyt is common as fukk with actors in particular who cross over into music. You can tell listening to his early work and then a lyrical miracle happened and he got better. But it wasn't a miracle, his team hired & paid for the best in canada.

But you know what? He still can't touch the TO legend Saukrates: (who was singing before Drake & producing all by his damn self btw) None of the dj's will tell you that, it is history revision. Him and K-OS they started that movement.





How many peple do you know "BREH" that had Monch,OC,Common,Xzibit,Masta Ace on their debut lp? Yet no one talked about him in the states. He can wax everyone in Drake's circle and that isn't even his day job, "BREH" He's a violinist for Nelly on tour. Matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Sauk wrote for Drake. Considering he was the first to show Drake how to record in the studio.

Don't think Sauks does, he would at least be involved behind the scenes (production wise) early on during So Far Gone or Thank me Later. But yeah Saukrates is a real talent, Redman never utilized that nikka.

But Comeback Season I believe was his. I think parts of Take Care until now he's been getting some influence/co-writers to help. Comeback Season and Room for Improvement are his best technical raps and storytelling. He saw it wasn't getting him anywhere, and switched his style up.
