nah... their growth has already slowed, reinforcing the "plateau" idea... and i think Zuckerberg hinted or flat out said that they're going to take some big risks in the near future. maybe i'll invest when they begin to see some promising returns. i'm not tryna finance a flop.

People should pay very close attention to what skool said here.

The only reason Facebook is offering IPO's is because they are looking to expand, for that reason alone you can expect the mid-term capital growth of their shares to be positive.

Also, if the "official" release price is $35-$45, do not for a second think that you will be able to purchase them at that price on the day of issuance.
Demand pull inflation will be so intense that you will end up paying much, much, much more than that per share.

Unless you are well connected with an institutional broker, you won't have a chance in hell of buying any on opening day. And I'd stay away from this shyt until they have a more reasonable valuation.

People dont need facebook...............as soon as something better comes along nlggas will leave facebook with their d1ck in the wind.............


Thats the reason facebook bought instagram..............to in essence, suppress the competition.

This tactic wont always work........

plus, if facebook were to start aggressivly rolling out ads people probably would start getting annoyed, spending less and less time on it and awaiting the day a new website arrived catering to what they feel is right..........I.E. the Sohh, Coli situation
