He's only got 2 years left apparently, and Prok wasn't exactly raving about him when he spoke in November. I think he said something like "We're ok, we just need some luck and players healthy and we'll be ok".
When his contract was extended we were coming off a solid 1st season and Prok still had high hopes for that team. Since then we've had the Boston trade which is an all time disaster, which you know was bad since Prok had them back off re-signing Pierce in order to save $. He's gone from "I'll spend whatever lets win" to "Wait this roster blows cut some money off the tax bill".
And the Kidd thing I think was more "fukk Kidd for going behind our backs" instead of "we choose Billy over Jason".
While I still think he may support Billy to an extent, I don't think he feels the same way he did 18 months ago when he extended his contract.
Maybe this Darius Morris signing will change their minds
