What are you basing this off of? The East is stronger than the West this year.

The two best teams in the league are in the West but all the other best teams are out East.

You're telling me that the Heat, Bulls, Raptors, and Celtics are better than the Thunder, Clippers, Grizzlies and T'Wolves? :mjlol:

Kawhi has the better team around him and they would win 50 games without him. Just like they did before he arrived. YES he makes them a Finals contender again but don't act like he is more important to the Spurs then Bron is to the Cavs. You put Bron on the Spurs and their record is the same too. Cause without having to worry about getting 25 a night he can go and concentrate on defense which is something he was pretty good at for a long time in his career. And even now don't act like he's getting cooked out their every night either. Point blank he is still better then Kawhi especially if you include all around game like rebounding defense and playmaking into it to. If they don't have a center spot officially then yeah Leonard deserves to get in but if they do he doesn't at least not over Bron or KD. If his game goes up another level next season then this will be a different discussion.

What makes you so sure that Bron would do just as well with Spurs as Kawhi has done? Bron's ball-dominant style of play goes against everything the Spurs represent. I don't agree the Spurs would have the same record with Bron instead of Kawhi. And Bron has long been an vastly overrated defender.

Also there's a difference between being on pace to win 50 games and being on pace to break the record for most wins in a season. It is no coincidence at all that in seasons prior, the Spurs never even threatened to break that record yet this season, in which Kawhi has taken big steps in his development, the Spurs are up there with the Warriors trying to get that record. It's clear that Kawhi has elevated the Spurs this season.

Again, Kawhi has established himself as the best 2-way player in the game, bar none while averaging 21pts/7rebs/3asts/2stls/1blk per game while shooting 51% from the floor and 46% from downtown. And as mentioned already, he's led the Spurs to second in the much tougher Western conference while having his team on pace to break the record for most wins in a season.

Nobody has yet to provide me with logically sound reasons as to why Bron deserves that first ALL-NBA team spot over Kawhi based on this season's performance. :jbhmm:

The question is NOT who's more important to his team. The question is who has had the better season. And I just don't see how you can't say that Kawhi hasn't had a better season than Bron.

I get that Bron has a bigger name and is more marketable, and, because of that, will most likely be named in the team. However, if we're being objective and judging this based on merit, Kawhi > Bron EASY.

Bron Kawhi and Durant should all make first team...KD gets AD spot since he did not play enough games...

The real tragedy is Draymond Green is going to rob one of these dudes of that spot because he plays for the warriors...

So why are you in the minority with this opinion. I refuse to believe the Spurs would be worst with Bron and a reason why they are chasing 70 just like the Warriors is partly cause the West is as weak as it's been in a while. You say no one has provided you reason but how about averaging more points rebounds assists while shooting a high percentage from the field. Kawhi has got him with the 3 this season by far but everything else is all Bron other then defense.

Didn't they do away with the center position on the All-Teams? Like the All-Star Game
First-Curry/Westbrook/Bron/KD/Kawhi
Second-CP3/Harden/Draymond/Davis/Cousins
Third-Lowry/Klay/PG13/LMA/Drummond
Millsap should get in easily over LMA.

Me having the minority opinion (which may not even be true, btw) doesn't mean that I'm wrong.

Kawhi has better defense, better FG%, and a better 3-point % than Bron. He's also led his team to a better record in a tougher conference. He also has the Spurs as the top 2 favorite teams to win it all.

Again, we can agree to disagree.
