I don't know if im ready to say Wayne's star fell off yet. Sure he as a rapper has fallen off, but if he stops whoring himself out to every artist who requests a verse and puts some thoughts into his rhymes again then he can still maintain his spot in the rap game. I know and don't expect to see Sqad/Carter Wayne again but i will be happy if he could get back to Drought 3 status or even No Ceilings status again.

Might be 50 Cent and Ludacris depending on what they release.

Both have had their musical direction questioned and as much as people brag about what they're doing outside of music in terms of business ventures, that's probably doing as much to keep them detactched from the current trends than on them.
Both have had trouble releasing their latest album and had some very desperate crossover attempts with their latest singles.

Unless they can both knock out a home run in terms of album content and a catching single, they could be both Nelly status in 2013.

Meek definitely didn't live up to the hype. Niqqa was meant to be like the new dmx

Album was so weak. So weak.

:wtf:

People saying Luda, but for some reason I think he needs a pass until his album drops. He might have a Jeezy type renaissance where signs point to him flopping but he does better than expected..

Wayne is double A garbage, but fading he's not (unfortunately) the carter 4 moved a million first week a year ago. His label boasts two of the most popular rappers of this generation, he just had a "quiet" year.

50 Cent's star faded two years ago, now he's just wallowing in his own irrelevance, releasing trash mixtapes, desperate singles, and proving that his "me against the industry" attitude of yesteryear was nothing more than a gimmick
