Everybody know Shyne pulled the trigger, on some machismo shyt.

Diddy and his bodyguard, would have been stupid to take the same lawyer as Shyne. Of course they're going to distance themselves from the person who did the shooting.

Bottom line, numerous people were shot(including one in the face), three people where charged (Diddy, The bodyguard "Wolf", and Shyne). Not all three were going to go home scot-free. So diddy and the bodyguard distanced themselves from Shyne(the guilty party), by getting separate lawyers. He got no time, because he didn't do anything.........

Yes, the initial altercation was with Diddy. Someone (Mathew "Scar" Allen) threw money in Diddy's face, but he was never in any physical danger. Shyne was only 21 at the time, very impulsive, and probably was trying to "prove" his loyalty to Diddy(a la Young Buck, stabbing the person who attacked Dr. Dre). He took the money being thrown at Diddy as a diss, and started firing all over the place(He later claimed it was "Self Defence")

I'm pretty sure Diddy's lawyer (Cochran Firm), told him not to use the same lawyer as Shyne. It would make it look like he directed Shyne to shoot up the club.
