Explain to me why he's mediocre. Don't be lazy either. I want to see statistical evidence.

His passer rating is 89 (good not great)
32 TDs to 21 INTs in 20 postseason games (slightly above average)

And his aforementioned 9-11 record (below average) 8 1 and dones

Even his completion percentage is down from his regular season stats.

Face it, he's not a big time performer in the playoffs & his record & stats prove that.

A lot of factors.
Game 1 in Denver. They could have lost if they were in Baltimore.
Wes Welker had as much coverage as Sara Jay in a group scene.
Joe Flacco wants to ride out the rest of his contract at 80% effort.

Who knows.

List the QBs who have been better in the playoffs, please. I knew you'd be a lazy bytch so I'm going to pull the data out of you.

If that moronic Denver safety bats the pass down instead of allowing Jacoby Jones to catch it, this thread isn't made.

If Bob Sanders could actually stay healthy, this thread isn't made.

If Vanderjagt didn't choke all sorts of dikk, this thread isn't made.

The people who shyt on Peyton for "choking" are just as pathetic and ignorant as the people who shyt on Romo for the Cowboys' failures.
ALERT: There's more at play in deciding football games than just Quarterback play!

They're going to keep moving the goalposts though. Next thing you know they'll bring up Vanderjak and the defense again.

It's You Haters who keep on moving the goal posts. Literally in this alone thread it has gone from

"He clearly choked in those playoff losses"

"Well he didnt play as good as his regular season numbers"

"He played mediocre (pulls up stats) well he ONLY played above average, he should have been elite every game"

I only said the middle statement and haven't moved from it. You can't disprove it at all. I ain't a hater neither. Peyton's top 5 all time QB. The fact that you call me a hater only makes it more blatant that you'll keep moving the goalposts.

That's certainly true. It's also true that a great offensive performance would give enough separation where it wouldn't always come down to just one play ending his team's seasons.

Clown,

  • All of Peyton's contemporaries have WORSE numbers in the playoffs than the regular season (how dumb can you be to not know this?).
  • Brady has thrown more pics than him in the playoffs. Elway threw 21 picks. Marino threw 24. Are they bums too?
  • Have you looked at Elway, Marino, Favre, etc win/loss records? Are they bums too?
  • Brady, Favre, Young, Elway all had lower completion % AND RATING in the playoffs than hey did in the regular season.
  • You wanna clown Peyton's comp% and rating in the playoffs. His numbers are actually better than Brady's.:beli:

Compare Peyton to his peers and he comes out on top.

Hanging a team stat on a QB is epic levels of mental retardation.
