So why does TSC not like Baron Corbin exactly?

Hes a big guy who got pushed fast. Thats it. Same reason TSC hated Stroman. If Corbn did something super violent to Cena a lot of opinons would change.

To me the guys always seemed to have potential, but is definetely not there yet. Hes clearly missing something right now.

He is good where he is right now, on the cusp of main eventing while letting the older people run with the title and learning from them. This is what Roman should've been going through instead of being hotshotted to the title. When Baron wins the world title it will be a title that will be earned in the fan's mind and can get behind his character.

No doubt he can improve. He's serviceable already, and "big men" pretty much always peak later in their careers. Undertaker was still the drizzling shyts when he had years more experience than Corbin has now.

Dude is 6'9, intimidating, a natural douchebag (which translates to screen), moves well for his size and can perform cool moves. His ceiling is higher than 90% of the roster and people are in here acting like he's a deavour candidate

Seeing his "real" personality on that NXT Breaking Ground shyt on the Network showed me that this dude is different than the usual happy-to-be-there bland personalities in the wrestling business today. Dude comes off as a genuine a$$hole, rather than just someone playing an a$$hole on TV.

A year or two more experience talking on camera and it's a wrap. Top heel in the biz 2019.

So what I'm gathering there are three schools

1. I like Baron Corbin
2. I don't like his promos because they're every scripted but I like his work
3. His work is boring or bad
4. I don't like his look because reasons that I don't apply to other wrestlers
5. He was pushed too fast

2 is valid, definitely get it. 3, is what a heel is supposed to do, and it's not bad. 4 and 5 at garbage to me, because he's supposed to be a big ugly bad guy, and he has been pushed slowly and worked up the ranks. He definitely has not been pushed too fast.

I've said it in other threads - Baron Corbin gets better and better each time I see him. He's improved A LOT since he debuted on the main roster. He reminds me a lot of Sid, maybe because of his size & in-ring work. I think his promos aren't really that bad compared to others in the company (e.g., Big Cass). He's probably one of the few NXT guys that aren't a complete joke.

He isn't a great wrestler, his promos suck, his hairline is fukking embarassing.

I do like that he seems like he has a big desire to be good and improve and i think he really likes the wrestling buisness.

I don't think Corbin is being pushed as fast as others are saying I think he was being over looked in NXT. I think WWE from a smackdown standpoint is building him right and still think he should've went over Ambrose for the title at WM and that match should've been the match they had 2 days later.

Corbin right now is solid I give him a B just wish that idiot JBL would stop saying he's going to be a future world champ. If it's JR saying it I believe JR believes it JBL sounds too much like Vince so I can see that part of it being they're pushing him too fast.

His promos aren't that good but he's definitely improving.

I think he should've taken the IC title from Ambrose tho and I would've had him cook with that for a good 6 months as he improves.

I like Corbin, but his flaws are glaring.

• Bad Look
• Receding hair and poor shape
• Skipping leg day and wearing those skinny jeans.
• Still very unnatural on mic. Pauses like a 2nd grader trying to read
• His ring work is spotty and one dimensional like Big E.
• His timing can be off at times
• He is like a boring American Bad Ass/ Big Evil rehash

There is still a lot good things about him. He has very good psychology in matches and decent timing for his experience. He just need to get better.

Haven't seen much of his stuff the past several months so I can't really judge him. But he was in NXT and was still in the beginning of his run on the main roster.

When you watch Strowman on raw & then tune in the next day for smackdown & watch Corbin it's a severe downgrade.

I don't get the fixation some people seem to have with his look/hairline. He reminds me of Jake the Snake. Tall, lanky and balding with stringy hair. If Jake was around in 2017 would people be dismissing him because of his look?
