He hasn't deserved one yet.

I know you guys like to build up like he's the 2013 De Niro but he just isn't that good.

He's got plenty of solid 8/10 performances but I've yet to see that one next level mind blowing performance.

because since titanic hes only signed up to do flicks with "named" directors.You are hardly going to look bad when u are only being directed by elite. The academy know hes buying his way to being a "great" and they aint falling for it like so many idiots.

Truth be told i will hold my hand up and say he was on point when he was younger.But since like after QATD hes only had a handful of great performances (beach, aviator). Havent seen django but i bet thats another rare (great) performance he will manage

Obviously he's been in a lot of classics but truthfully there isn't one performance I can say "he got robbed of an oscar for that". He's always good, even great but not amazing oscar level performances. Although I do feel he's gotten better and better as the years go on and an oscar's not too far off.
